Coventry Hearsall Golf Club was first established in 1894 at Hearsall Common as a 9 hole course. Relocating to Beechwood Avenue in 1910 this parkland course has matured over the years into a tough but fair test to all levels of golfers, and is regularly used by the County for team matches.
Set in over 96 acres of land and just a mile from the city centre, the course attracts many visitors and societies from around the country. Currently a Par 70, 6123 yards long with an SSS of 71, the course has narrow fairways, tightly tree lined by well established trees which provides an enjoyable and interesting challenge for all golfers.
Our Head Green Keeper, Chris and his team work hard through the seasons ensuring we have a well manicured golf course, providing playable greens, approaches, and aprons throughout the year. This makes for enjoyable golf for our members and guests alike.
We have a state of art irrigation system, and a first class fleet of course equipment and machinery to offer a well presented and manicured course. We are proud to be widely recognized as one of the most mature, long standing, and highly respected courses in Warwickshire.
Coventry Hearsall Golf Club is a members club just a mile from Coventry City centre. It is a mature and well established golf course built on a relatively small acreage. It provides a challenging test of golf with tight and narrow rolling fairways, and easy walking which offers golfers of all ages an enjoyable game of golf.
From the first tee right in front of the clubhouse, golfers will quickly realise that you will need to be keeping on the narrow fairways which are separated by some very old trees substantially populated separating fairways that have been planted during the past two or three decades
The golf course isn’t claustrophobic, but challenging – wild hitters might well find themselves playing in to the trees or onto another fairway – players need to be hitting straight to have the chance of playing to their handicap and achieving a good score.
The course flyover shows an overview of our course, and our club pro, Mike Tarn is available if you have any queries.
