Ravinder Kumar,

Head Chef

My passion is in producing the finest food from the freshest and most ethically sourced produce. I began my career in my home country completing my formal catering training before moving to Italy with a view to developing my skills and broadening my knowledge of European cuisine. To further this knowledge, I moved within the company to Germany and then back to Italy, before moving to the UK in 2003 as chef de parties at the Village Hotel in Coventry. During this time, I progressed to sous chef and managed the food operation, whilst increasing my eclectic food knowledge from Asian to pan-European helping me to develop a fusion of flavours and styles to create a unique blend of global cuisine. During my time in Coventry and working alongside my job at the village hotel I also worked at the University of Warwick providing an array of fabulous meals for all students and staff of the campus. Since taking up the post as Head chef at Hearsall Golf club we have faced some of the most challenging of times, making it difficult to introduce all the exiting new dishes I have planned for the members . I intend to put all my experiences gained in my career to date to develop and deliver the best food with the finest flavours for your enjoyment and delight.

Alina Facalet,

Sous Chef

Alina began her career in hospitality working in her home country of Romania, she gained an excellent knowledge in all areas from waitressing to bar tendering to eventually running the bar. Whilst waitressing in a local restaurant, Alina’s passion for food was ignited and this was to be the start of a very different path in hospitality.

Alina moved to England in 2016  where she continued to pursue her new path in the kitchen and finally she joined the Coventry Hearsall Golfclub as a Sous Chef in 2019.  As part of Alina’s development, she has undertaken full responsibility in running the kitchen to a very high standard and takes great pride in overseeing the catering side of the events, ensuring all members and guests receive the best service we can provide.
